Summer Experience

For June of 2022, we are excited to add free, four week, summer experiences at all schools, in addition to the excellent paid programs that are offered each summer.

Incoming Kindergarten Students! — Please contact your school for information about summer programs.

Free Programs

Full STEAM Ahead! — Uses Opening Minds through the Arts (OMA), STEM curriculum, and highly-engaged teachers.
Students also receive ELA and Math instruction in small groups.

Freshman Academy — Supports incoming 9th grade students to transition from middle school to high school while building math, reading and study skills.

AP Bootcamp — Introduces any high school student to Advanced Placement curriculum and rigor.

High School Credit Recovery — For current high school students looking to catch up and graduate with their class!  Held in-person at all schools.

Register with ParentVUE by June 2 (by May 6 to guarantee transportation):

  1. Sign in to ParentVUE
  2. Select Summer from the drop down
  3. Enter your student's current grade (for 21-22)
  4. Select your school

  • Meals — breakfast and lunch
  • Transportation for Full Steam Ahead! (register by May 6)

  • Nurses/Health Clerks/Counselors
Paid Programs

Catalina Online Learning Experience (COLE) — High School Students looking for credit advancement or grade replacement will register with COLE.  Fees will apply ($50 Registration + $75 per .5 credit)

Pre-Kindergarten — For children who have not yet started school.  Visit Community Schools

School Age — For school-age children who want to start early and end late in the day. Visit Community Schools
